Covid-19 Safety Practices
Pick Up/Drop Off of Children
Children must be picked up and dropped off in a designated location outside of the facility
Nonessential visitors, including parents, will be limited after drop off
All persons entering the facility must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer
Daily Health Screening
Outdoor signs will direct parents and staff to call office staff upon arrival prior to entry
Children, visitors, and employees must answer the following questions and go through a temperature check with a contactless thermometer prior to entry
1. Do you have a new cough that you cannot attribute to another health condition?
2. Do you have new shortness of breath that you cannot attribute to another health condition? 3. Do you have any two of the following symptoms: Fever (100.4 F or higher), chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, or new loss of taste or smell?
4. Have you come into close contact (within 6 feet) with someone who has a laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the past 14 days? Anyone who answers yes to any of the above questions will not be allowed entry for 72 hours.
Increased Sanitation and Hygiene Practice
Frequent handwashing at 45 minutes intervals with soap, water, and vigorous rubbing for at least 20 seconds will be enforced.
Hands will be washed before meals and snacks, before and after outdoor play, after using the bathroom, prior to going home, after blowing nose/assisting a child with blowing nose, or after coughing or sneezing. •
If soap and water are not available, hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol will be used.
Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned daily before school, before lunch, and at the end of the day.
This includes tables, doorknobs, light switches, countertops, handles, desks, phones, keyboards, toilets, faucets, and sinks.
Nap mats or cots will be cleaned or disinfected daily.
Children will continue to take home their nap bedding on a weekly basis.
Deep Cleaning:
The home is deep cleaned with Bleach solution everyday after kids leave
We have hired an anti-bacterial/anti-viral company to sanitize and fog our home once every week.
Food And Water:
Each child may bring a personal water bottle.
Disposable drinking cups will also be provided as necessary.
No food sharing will be allowed.
Social Distancing Strategies
The sharing of items will be limited. If items are shared, children will be reminded not to touch their faces and to wash their hands after using these items.
Staff will be trained on the increased sanitation and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) made available to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
Disinfectants that are effective against COVID-19 will be used at the proper concentrations and per the manufacturer’s directions.
Travelling and Social Bubbles:
Our parents and guardians are advised to limit interact in a social bubble- however, if you had to interact beyond that and are feeling symptoms, please notify us immediately and schedule testing, please do not bring your child into the facility for 72 hours until after you have received the negative test results
If you have recently done any domestic or international air traveling, please self-quarantine for 14 days or bring your child back after a negative Covid test
